Meditation Sessions
Hire me to support you in beginning or maintaining a meditation practice! For go-getters, yogis, and anyone who wants to enhance their day-to-day life.
Why Mindfulness and Meditation
Prior to becoming a certified yoga instructor, I assisted neurodivergent teens and young adults in reaching their highest levels of independence, often using methods based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It was through this work that I became interested in mindfulness and meditation. Once I started regularly leading meditation as part of my teaching practice, I realized this is a service many people of all walks of life can benefit from. Furthermore, these classes can be offered completely separate from a yoga practice.
Offering meditation coaching through video sessions and audio recordings is a natural fit, merging my creative passions of yoga and music. Coming from a background as a songwriter and musician, I enjoy composing original guided meditations and arranging and recording meditation mantras.
Physically, meditation helps release tension and calms the nervous system. Mentally and emotionally, a meditation practice builds resilience, helping to cultivate calmness during high stress situations. It can build focus and concentration to increase productivity, and improve mental clarity to support innovation and creativity.
My Meditation Coaching Approach
While meditation Coaching is completely customizable, here is my recommended format:
One hour of instruction per week:
one 30-minute video session; we will talk about your goals, experience and progress, and then meditate together.
30 minutes of personalized audio recordings for you to practice on your own throughout the week. Recordings may consist of several short meditations or a couple longer meditations, depending on what you need from week to week. All audio recordings are yours to keep!
Commit to 4 weeks to begin with, and take it from there! Consistency is important if you want to experience the full benefits of your meditation practice. I am here to support you and help keep you accountable for as long as you need.
